B.Tech. Programmes
The minimum qualification for admission to the
first year of the B.Tech.programme is a pass in the Intermediate
(10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government
of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent
thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other Engineering
Colleges in the State through a Common Entrance Test conducted by
the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The admission pattern is as follows:
80% of seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET
15% of seats are earmarked for NRI Candidates
05% of seats are earmarked for National Integration candidates.
In addition to the above,Diploma holders are admitted
in second year of B.Tech course to the extent of 10% of sanctioned
intake based on the merit in the E-CET (FDH) , under lateral entry
scheme.
